Star Hotel, Istanbul

Staying at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I had faced the main road, making it very noisy at night, but it was very clean, and breakfast, although okay, could have provided more options for diabetic guests. The neighborhood street was nice to look at from the other side, even though the economy room I stayed in was understandably small.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, offering nice views of Sultanahmet, but there were some issues with cleanliness and hot water availability. The staff was friendly and warm, providing good service throughout my stay. The location was excellent, putting me within walking distance of major attractions like the Blue Mosque, although the Wi-Fi was not suitable for much more than sending text messages.

The location was perfect for me, surrounded by stores, restaurants, bars, and close to all the old monuments. The dining experience was very good, especially with the amazing view it offered. Overall, great value for money and a truly enjoyable stay.
